Hiding from religious persecution by the Inquisition.

However...while it's possible to hide your religious beliefs...it's rather difficult to hide the colour of your skin.

And the way you've written Veela, is a lot more similar to hiding the colour of your skin. Part Veela are poor witches, which makes it difficult to hide. And then there are those Veela characteristics.

You've done a poor job of making the position of Veela in wizarding society believable, I'm afraid.

Author's response

I see your point but I think on this occation you, or once more my writting, are focusing on the wrong idea. Try to look at Veela as more of a group of individuals and not of a whole large race.

I my inturpretation there are not millions of Veela out there in wizarding society. There are some yes, and it is thoese that find this awfaul place, but the majority do not intergrate with wizarding society. Try and make a comparison with them and wearwolves and you might see what I was trying to say.

However with all of that said I am relooking at everythig and hopefully will be able to clear things up with updates.

Cheers
