  The story and idea are great. In my opinion though, everything happened too fast. Frank is drunk, Gerard suddenly tells him for some reason he loves Frank (why did he choose that moment after all those years?), Frank "thinks" he loves Gerard, and when Gerard is dying he says he loves him deeply. It's kinda strange, don't you think?
  I really like the idea though, and the last sentence was sweet =)
