I quite liked this expansion on L's confusion, from that section of DN.
I really liked the way he tried to test out his theory on apples; the way that Light almost remembers what happened before but at the last moment things don't seem quite right.

I had to come back to this story and read it again, so I could compose my love enough to say something about it.
EEEE. How beautiful and in character everyone is. Excellent use of language to weave a really believable, incredible piece of fiction. I do hope to read more from you!
