The Pursuit
"Gau, get back here!" Sabin yelled leaping over a downed tree. Behind him he could hear Cyan grunting in his armor as he ran.
"Mr. Gau, this is most inappropriate!" the knight exclaimed.
Ahead of them zig-zagging through the tall grasses, the youth was bounding on all fours, barely slowing. Sabin was amazed at his quickness and irritated that he couldn't knock the kid off his feet with a well place Aurabolt.
"I'm going to put a leash on him!"
Dodging through a heard of Vamamothes, Gau spooked several which took flight. Right into Cyan and Sabin's path.
