  Thanks, everyone! I'm glad you're enjoying it! I must admit, I found that chapter much fun to write :D Some of the earlier chapters which set the scene and led up to it were difficult because it was so hard not to just race ahead!
  
  Anyway - Faeore - you're right, the legend is playing out in Frank's mind, just as you say. But already it's suggested that 'Gerard' wasn't the cruel womaniser he was painted.
