Well, this is an interesting start. You have my attention and the story is not yet predictable. The Guardian could be Harry but that isn't certain yet. That alone will ensure that I will read the next chapter.
The overall pacing is a bit fast and the scenes could use a little more detail. I'm glad that you dodged the temptation to spend lots of time with the supporting characters, though. It can be rewarding but it usually just bogs down the story.
