Nice chapter but given that they've not had a lot of off screen (or on screen) time where we know they are doing more than sleeping together, the pregnancy comes as a bit of a surprise to me at least. although gratuitous sex really doesn't add to the quality of a story, having them work through the challenges of making love both connected and after really would have added some significant depth to the plot and characters. Thanks for your hard work on this, I'll be looking forward to future installments.

It was mentioned while they discussing the Yule celebration that sex on the altar has to be without contraception. Daphne mentioned that she was using it otherwise. So the only time she could have gotten pregnant was on the altar during the Winter Solstice celebration. Ergo, either Hecate allowed it or caused it to happen. If that's not clear I should fix that. Either in a future chapter or by editing an old one.
