I have not seen many stories with a fully sentient Hogwarts, and less with an intelligent avatar, I have to say this story is shaping up very well. Its intriguing about Flamefire, is he still alive or is he only there in spirit to protect Harry's mind-scape from evil headmasters ;). Also Hogwart's avatar description, with green eyes like his mother? or just coincidence?
I did notice one mistake, you introduced harry as Harry Potter, newly joined Ravenclaw Class of 1992, when it should be 1991. its a small enough mistake that you could ignore it
