That was a deftly-done write-up of the Yule Ball and it reads quite well. The work-up to the Second Task is interesting and I love the manipulations of Dumbledore. It's a shame, really, that he's tried to lead/mold Neville since Harry "died" and it's not been too productive; I rather suspect that much that's wrong with this Neville can be traced to Dumble's manipulations rather than Neville's learning and achieving on his own. I suspect this will come back to bite Albus most thoroughly.
