Nice part there, and really enjoyed the time the three spent on the the train together, with your usual hot writing. I agree with you, Lavender got used a bit too much by JKR, and she likely deserved better than she got if she really loved Ron, especially as JKR was busily working on trying to rewrite her characters to fit in the ending she apparently wrote years before. Go Prof! and looking forward to the new trios time alone over the holiday.

Next chapter will be Yuletide in Ottery St. Catchpole, Hermione will be in France with her folks, and Luna will have Harry all to herself until Christmas Day.
