Ahh, more Aragorn angst. What more can a girl ask for (and can you tell that I'm a ranger fan g?).
I liked that you further delved into the split that runs through the family. More often than not, characters in fanfic tend to seem quite invincible. And once a story is over, what has happened never bothers a character again.
The greatest shock for me was Elladan. I can understand his thoughts - he can't command what he thinks, and I guess it was pure instinct driving him. But it is frightening nonetheless. Just as Estel's reaction when he sees it in Elladan's mind shudders.
Just one tiny nitpicky: You don't sail to the Gray Havens, but from the Gray Havens. They are in fact in Middle Earth, the port from which you sail to the Undying Lands. Somehow, those two places tend to get confused a lot;-)
And most importantly: WILL THERE BE MORE? Let there be more is hopeful!
