Kingdom Hearts II.5

The sun shone brightly as Sora lay on the beach half-asleep. "Wake up, you lazy bum!" said a beautiful voice Sora was glad to hear. "Give me a break, Kairi." Sora remembered the first time he heard this as he stared into Kairi's deep blue eyes. He stood up and hugged her. Kairi hugged him back as she said, "I'm so glad you're finally back." tears now streaming down her eyes, "This...is not...a dream..." she said between sobs. Sora removed the tears with his thumb. "I really missed you." he said. "Thinking of you wherever you are." said Kairi, "We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend. Now I will step forward to realize this wish. And who knows? Starting a new journey may not be so hard, or maybe it's already begun. There are many worlds, but they share the same sky." She continued. Sora joined in as she said, "One sky. One destiny." Kairi's eyes were wet as she said, "I love you more than anything, Sora." Sora blushed and held her tight as he said, "I love you more than anything, too." Upon saying this Kairi leaned closer and stared at his navy blue eyes. Sora moved her hair behind her ear and kissed her. They both had waited so long for this moment, their lives seemed perfect right now.

Sora and Kairi lay on their backs, holding hands, while staring at the stars, and listening at the waves' soft serenade. "It's getting late." said Kairi. He had missed her so much. Even though just a week had passed since they reunited in The World That Never Was, their lives already seemed like this never had happened. Sora stood and helped Kairi up. They ran home holding hands and when they arrived at Kairi's house, Sora kissed her again. "Goodbye. I bet I love you more than you love /me/." he said joking. "You're on." Kairi said pulling Sora by his jacket and kissing him passionately. "I guess it's a tie." She said, a grin on her face, "bye, Sora.". As Sora saw Kairi's house's door close, he knew how lucky he was for having Kairi love him like that. He reached his house, threw himself on his bed, and stared out his window, thinking about Kairi, until he fell asleep.
