Chapter 10
Though Yuri and Wolfram were within the inn's private yard reserved for them, it was so large it felt like an open field. "What a nice breeze, it feels great doesn't it?"
Wolfram chuckled, "wimp..." This time he had managed to exhaust Yuri first, even if Wolfram was quite tired himself after their very enjoyable time together.
After recovering the newlyweds had gone for a walk. The sun was shining, a soft breeze danced by, birds were singing perched on the surrounding trees and a rapid river flowed near by. The river and its furious current seemed unfitting to the gentle atmosphere, yet there it was. Fish jumped out of the water, flapping their long fins, silver scales reflecting the sun light. Yuri curiously approached. "It looks a bit out of place doesn't it?" The Maoh released his beloved's hand which he had been holding.
"Yuri, don't get so close to the edge!" Wolfram tried to stop him, but Yuri was not the kin to think thins would go wrong; he was an optimistic who believe that things would always work out for the best.
"Don't worry so much Wolfram, nothing's going to-ah!" Yuri slipped, just as Wolfram feared, and was carried away by the river.
"Yuri!" For a moment Wolfram thought that Yuri would disappeared, being carried to Earth by the waters. But what happened was much worse. Yuri was unable to fight the currents and continued being carried away. "Yuri!" Without thinking of the consequences, Wolfram jumped into the river to save Yuri, and was carried away along with him.
The two young men managed to hold on to each other and stay afloat, but the river's waters were stood strong and continued carrying them away as they struggled not to drown. "A wall!"
I was a tall stone wall that surrounded the inn's private yard. The river passed by under it, but the space was very narrow. Wolfram held Yuri, protecting him from the impact of the wall. Wolfram's head hit the lower part of the wall and lost consciousness while Yuri was pushed underwater and passed under the wall.
The river at the other side of the wall was strangely calm, when Yuri surfaced and searched for Wolfram, looking in every direction for any sign of the blonde he thought he saw a machine with a pipeline that went into the river. Anisinna's rapid river surrender, machine guaranteed to turn any river into a peaceful one from the point where it was installed all the way to the sea, one of her few successful inventions. Yuri wished that they had installed it inside the wall, and most of all he wished Wolfram was alright.
Yuri finally spotted Wolfram, gently carried away by the now soft flow of the river. He dove underwater and pulling him out, worried about the stream of red trailing from the Wolfram's head and staining the crystalline waters with blood. "Wolfram! Wolfram!"
Yuri carried Wolfram to shore and held him gently. "Wolfram!" There was no response and Yuri was starting to panic. "Wolfram answer me please!"
A woman carrying a laundry basket was heading towards the river when she heard the voice. A dark figure with black hair and eyes lifted the river's waters rearranging them to spill out the symbol for 'justice', and the Maoh fainted beside his unconscious love. The woman dropped the basket and rushed towards them, recognizing the king and his husband right away, though she did not know they were near by. "Nya, Ralu, come quick!"

When Yuri woke up he was in a strange bed, under an unrecognized ceiling. He sat up and found a young lady sitting by the bed. "I'm so relieved you're awake your majesty."
"You helped me? Thank you," Yuri's thought were blurry, the recent events surfaced and he started frantically searching for Wolfram. "Wolfram!" He saw his husband sleeping in a separate bed next to his, breathing deeply in peaceful slumber and calm down.
"Your husband will be alright," the girl assured him.
"Thank you very much for helping him too," Yuri politely voice.
"We're happy to help the Maoh. Mother is preparing some fruits and father had gone to hunt, his excellency Wolfram very much liked the food so I hope you will too," the girl smiled kindly.
"He was awake? That's a relief," Yuri contemplated his beloved and missed the sad look in the girl's eyes.
"What's you name? You know who we are but I don't know your name yet," Yuri blinked, the girl looked sad just now but he didn't know why.
"My name is Nya, I live here with my parents Kala and Ralu," Nya looked as if she had something to say, bad news to deliver.
"Is something wrong?" Wolfram was safe and well enough to had woken up and had a meal so Yuri didn't think anything could be really wrong.
"I'm afraid his excellency has amnesia and does not remember being his majesty's husband..." Nya paused as Yuri's eyes went wide in surprise. "But I believe in you!" Nya quickly added, "I have been a supporter of Yuram ever since I first heard of the engagement a long time ago. True love will always find a way to recover, I'm sure!"
"Yuram..." Yuri repeated. Yuram... Yuri and Wolfram together, then this girl, and most likely her family, was one of the many who were happy about their union. "You went to the wedding didn't you?" By Yuri's request, the event had been opened to everyone.
"Yes I did! It was wonderful to finally watch both of you say 'I do'!" Nya cheered, and soon took note of her voice and glanced at Wolfram. He shifted a little but did not wake up.
Nya's mother Kala, who had first spotted Yuri and Wolfram by the river, entered the room, glad to see the king was awake. "How are you feeling your majesty?"
"I'm alright but Wolfram he doesn't remember... did he say anything about me at all?" Yuri asked. Normally by now he would be cheerfully telling them to call him 'Yuri' but he was too distressed to know if he was being called 'majesty', 'Yuri' or 'wimp'.
"He was a bit surprised to hear you two are married, but I think he just needs some rest to recover his memories." Kala tried to be supportive.
The sound of a door opening and closing was heard, and the voice of "I'm home!" signaled Ralu's return.
"My husband's bad, I already prepared some fruits and the meat should be cooked soon. "I'll bring you something to start with."
Yuri nodded and whispered his thanks for their hospitality. He was very worried about Wolfram. Ralu entered the room, speaking of something or other that Yuri nodded to, though he wasn't sure what was being said, his thoughts deeply focused on Wolfram. The Maoh didn't want to wake his husband if he needed to rest, but he wanted to talk to him so badly, he wanted Wolfram to recognize him.
Yuri didn't wake from his thoughts until he noticed Conrad, Weller, Gunter, Anissina and Greta gathered in the room. Apparently Ralu had been trying to say he had met Conrad b chance and told him about what happened. "Don't worry," Anissina looked confident, "my newest invention will heal Wolfram in no time!"
