Dreams, Unrelenting Fantasies.

This is an actual dream I recently had. It brings back some really... painful memories. I wish it happened. I swear.

High school… everything was supposed to happen here. We just got into eighth grade, and many people from my old grade seven class were still here. There had to be at least 15 of us I’m guessing. Including my crush. I’ve harbored feelings for that boy since, forever it seems. He was… perfect. He played guitar, he could act, he could sing, his grades weren’t too bad and he had a smile that could make your heart melt. Name, Miguel. I never thought I would fall for a guy like him, considering we never really did hang out or had anything in common for the past eight years we went to school together. In fact, for at least a few years, I hated his guts. He was everything I couldn’t stand in a guy. But now, he was like, the perfect Renaissance man.

We had a late start that day, and everyone was filing into the science room, the homeroom class. I sat beside him at the very back center of the class, for no reason. It just came to be like that because my best friend sat on the right, and his on the left, simple as that. I thought it was just another normal day, beside that fact that it was a dress down day. I was just sitting there, talking to my friend, and him to his, even after the bell rang and announcements started.

“Shhhhh!” Our teacher growled as we all settled down.

The announcements were the same every single day… just people being called to do stuff or to try out for stuff and messages in the office. Boring wouldn’t even begin to describe it.

They ended and I whispered to Mel, “I’m glad that’s over… so…”
“Yeah…”

I over heard Miguel and Stanley talking about something, as I had my head buried into my black hoodie. They were always just talking about something random, but usually it made me laugh. Despite being stereotyped as “emo”, I still talked to people and laughed and crap. It was just cause I wore mainly black, skinny jeans and Converse.

“So uh… what blocks do we have?” He asked.
“Science… and French…” Stanley replied.
“Damn it! I forgot my science binder…”
“Just get it after the bell… homeroom is like… really long today anyways.”
“Uhh sure…”
“So…”
“So?”
“I noticed you looking at her earlier… what gives?”
“Me looking at who? What the hell are you saying?”
“You know.” He gestured towards me, as I pretended to ignore it and continue my conversation with Melissa.
“Oh… what? No… ew. Why would I be looking at her?”
“Cause everyone knows you like her.”
Miguel fiddled with the sleeves of his gray hoodie and pulled them over his hands. “I do not…”
“Yeah you do.” Stanley took his sleeves and pulled them up. I couldn’t read what they said on his arms and hands, but there was obviously some sort of writing.
“Pshhh… I-”
“Save it for someone who believes you.”
“What? You fucking don’t?”
“Why would I? The evidence is right there. You like- no, wait, love her!”
“Shut up before someone hears you man!”
“You admit it? You do?”
“No… I didn’t say that damn it.”
“Sure….”
“What do you admit?” Melissa asked passing by. I laughed, knowing everything that was going on. I didn’t know exactly who they were talking about, but it might have been me.
“N-nothing…” Miguel stuttered.
“Yeah… he’s in love.” Stanley proudly stated.
“With who?”
Stanley attempted to do the thing with his sleeves again, and since he was way stronger than Miguel, he succeeded. “There.”
“Whoa… seriously?” Melissa’s face looked shocked as I stood up to go to Paul and Kathy. “Can I tell her?”
“What? Hell no.” Miguel lashed out.
“Fine… then you beat me to it. Cause… I’m gonna tell her… but I think she should seriously from you or you’ll seem pathetic and have no chance.”
“I-I need to get my science… be back.” With that he left the room.

Melissa then came over to our table, as we were casually chatting about My Chemical Romance, among other things.

“So… Ray…”
“Yeah?”
“I saw you looking at him earlier…”
“Who’s she looking at?” Paul asked hopeful to get an answer.
“Just… a boy.”
“Well obviously…” Kathy said in monotone, “Which kid?”
Melizzie gestured over to Miguel’s general area.
“Oh him…” Paul said, sounding like she disapproved.
“I-I wasn’t…” I whispered.
“Uh sure you weren’t. Why don’t you just go talk to him?” Kathy suggested.
“I can’t… he doesn’t like me… he never has and never will.” I convinced myself.
Miguel then was pushed over towards our table by Stanley, and let out a “Hey…”
“Uh… hey… what are you doing over here?” I spoke.
“I just uh- wanted to like… talk to Ray…”
“Ooohhh…” Everyone said as I went away with him.

His eyes were a deep, deep brown and were sparkling as I looked into them. I’m not sure why he took me away from my friends, but it’s not like I really cared. He took me by the arm and we both sat at an abandoned desk in the back of the class.

“Rachel…” he said slowly.
“Uhh yeah?”
“I know it seems kinda sudden but…”
“…”

Then suddenly, I felt him be pushed towards me, and I heard the laughs and snickers of his friends who quickly ran to the other side of the classroom. He was ontop of me on the floor, his head slightly higher than my own. I couldn’t see anyone at that moment, but suddenly felt a soft, warm pleasure on my lips. It was gone so fast I swear it must have been a complete dream.

“D-don’t tell anyone okay?” he said to me, wiping his face.
I still lay on the floor, half stunned by the event that had just took place. “Uh... yeah. I won’t if you won’t.”
“Good… but does this mean that we’re… uh you know…”
“Official?” I asked, hoping for a certain response.
“Yeah… that.”
“I don’t know… what do you think?”
“Maybe we are. Just maybe.”
“Maybe…” I whispered to myself.

He walked away to his friends, and I walked over to mine.

Nothing happened.

// AN:

This was a dream, I had about a week ago. I like wrote it down and I just kinda went crazy. This NEVER happened and would actually be impossible because I go to and all girls school, he does not like me, he would never do something like this, I dream too much, I have basically stopped liking him, most of these people are from elementary but go mixed with the high school kids, AND I WAS DREAMING.

==;;

I have my moments though.
