Here We Go...

I opened my eyes and found myself in the morning sunlight with Gerard. I was still on top of him and I felt his hands for a second, they were freezing cold. I nudged Gerard lightly, calling his name.
“Hey Gee… wake up. It’s morning.” I called
“Mmhphhh.” He turned around and tried to hug me. He placed his arms over my chest and just continued to sleep.
“It’s not funny Gerard!” I said in a playful tone.
Gerard just laughed at me then fixed his position and sat up. “Whoa… it is morning. So we did make it through the night.”
“Yeah. Of course we did. Together.”
Our shirts were covered in grass and mud and it was the same with our pants. My hair was completely wet with snow and I was still freezing my ass off.
He gave me a kiss and said “Good morning. You look even better than you usually do.”
I could hear the sarcasm in his voice. Laughing, I said, “So do you. Uhhh… now where to Gerard?”
“My house I guess. It’s better than yours right now right?”
I agreed with him completely.
I tried to get up out of Gerard’s lap but he kept pulling me back down. He would put his arms around my waist as soon as I stood up, causing me to fall on him again. When he finally let me get up, I took his hand said, “Let’s go already. We don’t have all day you know.”
It felt like the longest walk of our lives to get back to the house. The park was only 5 blocks from his house yet it seemed as if we were walking for hours. When we finally got there, we headed for the nearest shower. I couldn’t wait to feel the hot water rushing down on me and actually be clean.
“No!!! I want to shower first!” I playfully argued with Gerard.
“No. C’mon me first! It’s my house!!”
“Oh okay… I have an idea…”
“Oh so did I…” he laughed.
“You say it first. Like you said, its your house.”
“Okay, okay, fine. How about we… shower… together?” he was just smiling at me, trying his hardest not to break out into laughter.
“No!! I wanna feel clean for once.” I said smiling at him.
“Ya know what? Fine. You go first.”
10 minutes later, I emerged from the shower; finally warm enough to function properly. But then I realized that I had no clothes to wear to school. “Hey Gee!” I called out, “You got a spare uniform you could lend me?”
“Course I do. It’s on the bed. Just come out and get it!”
I was slightly reluctant to go out because I doubted that the uniform was there. It was probably just Gerard teasing me some more. But I did go out and I was right. Gerard was there and he winked at me. To my surprise, there was a spare uniform on the bed too. So he wasn’t lying… I thought to myself.
“What are you waiting for Frankie? Come and get it.” His voice had this tone that made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. It was funny.
“Okay. I’m coming. I’m coming!"
I grabbed the uniform as fast as I could and got dressed in the room as Gerard now occupied the bathroom. I took a deep breath into his sweater. It obviously did smell like Gerard. I loved it so much. I couldn’t describe the smell but I loved it so much. As I did this, Gerard came out, just staring at me like I was an idiot, fully dressed and all.
“You know you love me Frank.”
“I know I love you Gerard.”
With that he came over and kissed me. Our lips collided, leaving little room to breathe in between kisses.
“What time is it? Cause I think we gotta go.” I said trying to relax.
“Don’t worry. It’s still early. School isn’t until 8:45 anyways.”
Gerard’s uniform was slightly too big for me and obviously looked like it wasn’t mine. That didn’t matter to me though. Gerard was now calling out for Mikey. He repeated his name and in the doorway, appeared Mikey. His hair brown hair was perfectly straight under his gray beanie hat and his glasses sat on the tip of his nose. He was a cute kid without a doubt.
“What’s Frank doing here Gee?” Mikey questioned.
“Oh… his mom had a… fight with him last night so he just crashed here.” Gerard lied to cover for us.
“Uhhh… okay then. You coming? I’m walking to school today.”
“Sure. C’mon Frank let’s go.”
I followed the Way brothers up the stairs, down the hall and out the door. I noticed Mikey whispering to Gerard and I over heard their conversation.
“So Gerard… are you uhhh… like with Frank?”
“What the hell are you talking about Mike?”
“Don’t lie to me Gee. It’s pretty obvious since Frank has been at our house in your room for two nights in a row now.” Mikey argued the point.
“Okay fine. Yes. We are.” Gerard finally caved and admitted it.
At this moment I felt slightly embarrassed but then they called me over.
“Hey Frank… congrats.” Mikey said to me with a smirk.
“Haha, shut up kiddo.”
Mikey was kind of like my best friend, next to Gerard. We had actually spent a lot of time with each other before I met my other “friends”. I just never knew that he was related to Gerard. The resemblance was obvious but I never made the connection between them.
“Mikey… do me a favor will ya?” I asked him.
“What?” he replied.
“Don’t tell anyone about me and your bro okay? When the time is right we’ll tell people.”
“Sure.” Mikey gave me a thumbs up and headed towards the entrance, leaving me and Gerard behind the large bush that acted like a fence. We had to go off in opposite directions so he and I were blowing kisses and laughing at each other calling out I love you.
“Oh… my… god.” said Toro as he watched me and Gerard.
Uh oh… Here we go… I said in my head.
