Please... Never Leave Me.

"I thought I'd never say this to another guy, but Frank... damn it. I love you with all my fucking heart."
After he said that, I had no idea what to say. I mean, I loved him too, but what if people found out? It's not I really cared what they thought, but, the names, the labels and the laughter. It might just be too much for a guy like me to handle. Damn...
I hugged Gerard, held him, then whispered into his ear, "Yeah. I love you too."
For the rest of the night, I lay on his bed, me in his arms, watching T.V. in the almost pitch black room. I must've fallen asleep cause when I opened my eyes, the clock read 12:11 am. Gerard's arms were tightly wrapped around me, his face just inches from mine. His breathing was heavy, but quite peaceful. Now lying awake on my side, I knew that I needed to get home, but at the same time, I didn't want to leave, I wanted to be with him forever.
Slowly I sat up, moving ever so slightly, as not to wake Gerard. He rolled around onto his other side, allowing me to get up. As I was about to turn the handle of the door, I felt his warm body wrap around me.
"Don't go..." he said softly, "Please. Never leave me."
"I'm not leaving you, it's just that, I don't wanna panic my mom... I need to get home."
To tell you the truth, my parents really didn't care where I was. Since the divorce, I've lived with my mom and she's always been out bar hopping and at her job, so as soon as she'd get home, she would lock herself in her room and sleep. Rarely would she come out, and she wouldn't notice if I didn't come home or not. My dad lived back in Newark with my sisters and he called ocassionally, but he had never visited.
Gerard just held me there. His arms were around my torso and slowly he was trying to drag me back into bed.
"Okay.. fine. I won't leave yet..." I said with a smile.
He just looked into my eyes, and I don't know what he saw, but he laughed ever so softly and then he led me back to the comfort and warmth of his bed, and we returned to the same position as before. Then, I fell asleep, listening to his snores all night.
