How Did You Know?
0 ReviewsSome Frerard conversations and stuff. Toro and Mikey ditched Frank and Gerard, so no one knows whats gonna happen.
School had ended. The bell rang and I burst out the doors, looking for Gerard. I couldn't find him thorugh all the people. Maybe it's just cause I was short, or it's becuase he wasnt out yet. I just didn't know.
"Hey..." Gerard came up from behind me.
"Holy shit!! Don't do that... god. You scared the shit out of me!" I said half panicked but slightly relieved to see him.
"So you coming to my place?"
"Yeah, course I am."
"It's too bad cause Toro didn't come to school today. He mentioned he had a fever yesterday or something so I guess it's just you and me..." Gerard smiled.
"What about Mikey?" I asked, secretly hoping he wasnt gonna be around.
"Oh... he's got this volunteer thing that just came up..."
I thought to myself that I was gonna be alone with Gerard at his house. It never really occured to me that Gerard could have been planning this all along but I just ran with it anyways.
Gerard's house was only a few blocks from mine, so we just walked. It was weird because that day I didn't even bring my guitar to school with me, despite knowing I was going to be at Gerard's house practising. Oh well, I thought, I guess everything was just meant to be.
As we went down the steps and Gerard opened the door he asked me, "What happened after lunch today? Seriously..."
"I-I.. I just dont know Gerard..."
"Well whatever happened I guess happened for a reason-"
"But how did you know that I lik-"
"Oh... there were some prety obvious clues..."
"But how did you know I liked you like that?"
Then there was a really awkward silence as we went down to Gerard's room. His room was dark and kind of cold, but comfortable at the same time.
"Make yourself at home," he said, "I'm gonna go grab some Skittles."
Skittles... I thought. I love those too. Wow. Gerard and I did have a lot in common. Pretty crazy if you ask me but I think we met for a reason. I was sitting on his bed as he came and sat beside me. He turned on the TV, but the we just started talking about everything. It's kind of like we were long lost brothers, but in a different way.
Gerard then turned and faced me, looked into my eyes and said...
