Geostigma: Conclusion
"I knew it would be dry by now..." Yuffie and Vincent stood at Aeris' church. The water from the rain that healed the geostigma before was long since dry, and they knew it, but they went back there anyway.
"We'll find another way," Vincent had decided that he would not let Yuffie go through this, at least not alone. He placed a hand on her shoulder, as she emptily stared at the flower that had grown back after the waster was absorbed into the land.
Yuffie breathed deeply, she was certainly not the kind to give up; she was the best ninja in Wutai, or maybe even the world. She smiled, so full of life as Vincent preferred to see her. "I'm not giving up, no way!" She sat down near the flowers. "Let's just take a break it's nice here."
Vincent sat down next to Yuffie, enjoying the peace. The church had a special serene atmosphere that could not be matched by any other place. Vincent observed the drops of water in the flower petals, it wouldn't be rare if it had rained recently, since most of the roof was missing, or if it was just the humidity of the morning; but it had no recently rained, and it was no longer morning. He found it odd that the gentle sun light had not yet dried the water from the flower petals.
"Smells nice, doesn't it?" The ninja got Vincent out of his though; she had moved closer, head resting on his shoulder.
"Yuffie, this water in the flowers, try putting it on the geostigma..." Yuffie decided to try it, it might not work but she wouldn't lose anything by trying.
To her surprise it did work, just as well as the rain had worked before. "It's gone!"
"These flowers, as long as they grow the cure will be here..." Vincent realized.
"Thanks Vincent!" Yuffie gave him a hug. "It was because of you that I didn't give up."
Vincent hugged her back, it just felt right, and he knew it was about time to open his heart once again...

Disclaimer, I do not own Final Fantasy VII. I purposely left this as an open ending story, but for those who really wanted some form of conclusion, here it is. Sorry I took so long, but better late than never right? The funny thing is I don't quite ship them anymore, not that I dislike them or anything; I just don't pair them up anymore. But people have requested an ending so I wanted to give them one as thanks for all their reviews and feedback.
