Tifa did not really know why she had asked him to go with her today; considering their past history together, it might have been a bad move on her part, but... he seemed to want to make amends, somehow. He never really said it, admitted to it, but she could see something under the surface of the turks' eyes; a kind of regret, perhaps.

Maybe what she just wanted was support. She could have asked anyone for that, but somehow it seemed more important with /him/.

Reno glanced at her as they trekked through the slums of Sector 6, feeling a bit more off center than he appeared to be. She blushed slightly, and turned her head away. They were passing the playground now, Reno taking it all in with interest, not quite looking up at the remains of Sector 7, yet...

"We're there." She whispered; her hand slipped into his, and he turned around. They stood there in silence for a long time; one mourning her friends, what had once been a part of her life; the other facing his deepest regret.
