Emergency
0 ReviewsNot a usual emergency...
"Hurry!" Reno called as he ran inside the Shinra building.
"Why are you telling me to hurry? You're the one who had to use the bathroom" Rude said. Reno was just standing in front of the elevators for him. "Weren't you in a hurry?"
"Well you see the thing is..." Reno started.
Rude didn't like the sound of that. "What is it?"
"Look" he pointed at a sign that read /'closed for maintenance'/.
"Take the stairs" Rude said. It was the only option since Reno refused to venture into the downstairs bathroom. Oh no, the Turks had their own bathrooms and were simply too good for those commoner bathrooms.
"That's what I was trying to say... I don't think I can get up the stairs like this" Reno said.
Rude paused. "Why are you telling me this?"
"Carry me" Reno's request was fallowed by a long silence. "Please Rude, carry me! I really need your help, I'm dying!"
"You're not dieing, you just really need to use the bathroom" Rude said.
"Rude please! I need your help. You're not going to abandon your best friend when he needs you the most, are you?" He had a sad chibi look.
Rude sighed. "Alright but next time don't wait so long before going."
"Ok, ok I promise just get me upstairs" Reno complained.
As a Turks, Rude knew mentioning the possibility of going to the regular, none-Turks bathroom would be an insult so he didn't even think of saying something like that. He picked up his partner by the jacket making sure to stretch his arms putting enough distance between him and Reno just in case.
"Be gentle" Reno complained. "Why are you charring me like a common shopping bag? Is this how you treat your best friend in such a fragile state?" Hs fingers were crossed for luck and his legs were crossed by necessity, he certainly couldn't walk like that let alone climb stairs.
"Be thankful I'm carrying you" Rude said.
Reno complained all the way up the stairs. He really did sound like he was dying. Half way there he decided it might have been best to swallow his pride and go to one of the regular bathrooms. "Take me back I'll go to a commoner bathroom I just need a bathroom now!"
"Oh no, we're already half way there. Hold it in" Rude said. Reno's reply was a complaint as if he was agonizing.
When they finally reached their floor Rude gently set Reno on his feet. The red head then jumped, with his legs still crossed, towards the bathroom with the little stick figure man sign hanging from the door. To his dismay as he approached he heard singing and drops of water falling. "I need to go!"
"Reno?" Tseng's voice came from inside the bathroom. "I'm in the shower."
While Reno whined, Rude offered his advice. "Please hurry before he has an accident."
Tseng shuddered, the carpet was very delicate. "Use the use the women's bath, there's no one in there right now." The Turks' bathrooms looked like expensive home bathrooms rather then commoner bathroom with stalls.
Reno was desperate so he too Tseng's advice. He hoped towards the women's bathroom and peeked via the doorknob.
"What are you doing?" Rude asked.
"Just making sure Tseng's right and there's no one in there" Reno replied. After making sure that the bathroom was in fact empty he peeked in. There was a lot of pink in there and a glass cabinet at the end containing strange things. He quickly closed the door. "It's scary in there!"
After fifteen minutes of constant whining from Reno, Tseng finally came out of the bathroom dripping wet clad only in a towel. "Hurry up."
"Thanks you rock!" With those words of gratitude Reno rushed into the bathroom.
"Why couldn't he just use the other one? It's unoccupied and Elena won't be back for a few hours." A very annoyed Tseng asked.
"He said it was scary" Rude replied.
At that very moment Elena arrived having completed her mission a lot sooner than expected. She paused at looked at Tseng with a question that she wouldn't quite get herself to voice.
If Elena's eyes would stop wondering around then maybe Tseng could find the words to explain the situation. Then again if her eyes didn't wonder he would be disappointed, such a paradox.
Her attention temporarily shifted from Tseng to Rude when he heard him say "Reno!" in surprise."
The red haired Turks had jumped on his partner's back without warning. "I'm all better now so no need to worry. Give me a piggy back ride down the stairs!"
Elena blinked then returned her attention to Tseng still unable to voice her need to know why he was standing there in a towel.
Without a word Tseng went back into the bathroom after it once again became unoccupied.
Elena directed a puzzled look towards Rude and Reno to which Rude replied "Reno had to use the bathroom."
Elena slowly nodded not quite fully understanding the situation but she accepted the answer anyway. "Right..."
