1. It started in an attempt to get away from Tifa and the children for a night and ended up in discarded clothing and tangled limbs, which was easy enough to understand, but neither of them could quite figure out how it had turned into something more.
2. Vincent couldn't help feeling insecure when it came to Cloud's relationship with Tifa; the bond between them was very strong, and Vincent often had to remind himself that he held a privilege no one else had: when he called, Cloud always picked up the phone.
3. Neither Vincent nor Cloud were good at talking things over, and so they translated words into movement, roaming hands and hot mouths conveying more than conversations could.
