  Oh, I loved this story. It had me cracking up. You've done Carrot so well in this, his total inability to understand any kind of subtext. Especially with the neat little footnotes, It could almost be Terry Pratchett writing it. Except I doubt we'll be seeing Vimes/Carrot slash in the canon any time soon. :P

  I must admit I'm not a regular reader of slash stories. Thankfully, there wasn't any uncomfortable angst or wailing and stuff here as with the usual slash stories I've seen. And the dialogue and reactions from Vimes were pretty fun! Good job!

  Oh man, I'm such a big fan of Discworld, and I love this fic XD You captured Pratchett's style and Carrot's character perfectly.
