  I followed your link back from Misk's story "Apothoesis."
  
  You have a very nice, clear writing style. Obviously, this is the only thing I've seen you write on Ficwad; I'd be interested to know what your other fandoms are.
  
  As for the lack of reviews, I think the length of the piece is hindering the review button. I'm not a fan of the drabble. I don't think that most stories can be told in only a few hundred words. I like to have room to expand, which is what I thought this story needed. It would have been helpful to have more ambience as well as more background. Greed and company are kinda an open field, fanfic writers can make up just about any backstory they like for them as well as decide just what the relationship between the characters is. If Greed and Martel were sleeping together, that would have added one dynamic, if Martel had been holding herself apart from the rest of the group (another play on the wordplay you had going of "mean, cold blooded," and other ways to describe snakes, that would have been another dynamic.
