Good doggie
'Sigh' Kagome looked dreamily out of her apartment building window. Her blue-gray eyes gazed Longley at a couple holding hands. What she would do to be that girl. She pondered the thought, and her eyes shifted in to a dreamy mode. They were all glassed over, and the dark green sparks in her eyes shone out more clearly. The wind picked up and took her long black hair and fanned it over her face. Her blue highlights shone in the bright sun.

Right now she was so far up the buildings looked like little needles sticking out of the earth. Kagome tucked her hair behind her ear and fiddled with the tips of her hair. She gave one last long look at the couple and then shut the window.

She walked to the mirror in her bedroom and wondered what was so wrong with her. She was not that tall sure she was 5'6 but many people were way taller then her. She did not have any sicknesses or any scars. Maybe it was her personality, or the way she dressed. Kagome didn't see anything wrong with it. She wore a white t-shirt and black baggy pants, the only decoration was the dragon on her left leg. 'Big deal' she thought Ok maybe she was not the most fashionable person in the world but hey!

When Kagome thought she spent to much time looking at her self, she took 20 dollars out of her wallet and shoved it into her pockets. She grabbed her keys and shut the door. She pressed the down button and waited for the elevator doors to open. A 'ding' sounded off as the door opened. She stepped in to the rectangular shaped elevator. Then she pressed the lobby button and held her breath all the 31 flights down.

She smiled as she remembered why she always held her breath when going down elevators. The old worn out carpet reminded her of the carpet in her old apartment building. Both her and her two brothers would try to see who could hold their breath longer. So now it was just a reaction to hold her breath when she was nervous, and at times she did not even notice that she was holding her breath.

When Kagome reached the lobby she let out the breath she was holding in. Then walked out the front door.

She waited for a couple of minutes then saw him. 'Right on time' she thought happily. Her eyes glimmered in happiness as she spotted him. Kagome had a major crush on him since collage, and it just so happened that a little bird told her he was going to be here.

He quickly walked down a familiar path, she didn't quite remember where it went but the sites were familiar. She followed quickly behind, and stopped once in order to buy a newspaper. For once she was actually grateful for the crowed streets of San Francisco, it allowed her to follow him with out him knowing. When she finally looked up over the newspaper she had picked up along the way she finally noticed she was in front of a park, and even worse she was so into the article she was reading she had lost him! The whistling of the wind drowned out her frustrated wine. 'Oh well might as well just enjoy the scenery' she thought sadly.

Kagome took a deep breath of the crisp clean cut grass. "Achoo!" maybe this was not such a good idea. The only thing that made her nose itchy was a lot of dust, and there was a huge amount of that here. Deciding she walked too far just to go back, kagome walked over to a bench.

Her eyes drifted and looked to her left when she smelt burnt hotdogs on a grill. The site of them made Kagome want to have a picnic. She stared at the hot dogs for a while, and then looked back to the man made lake. The laughter of children and the creaking of the rusted swings made Kagome smile as she saw children running on a playground. A couple of joggers passed the playgrounds as a dog led its poor owner, on a cat chase.

Kagome felt the tall grass on her feet and ankles sway with the wind, her black slippers discarded on a patch of grass. Finally after a month she felt calm, and a recurring peace overwhelmed her. The heat of the sun burned into her skin but she didn't care. Then she felt it, the dust was moving through the air.
"Ah ah ahh AHHH ACHOOOOO!"
The squeaking of car tires and the sweet feel of the land was not enough to keep her from sensing continually.

She stood up and wiped her nose. She had it. 'I'm going home' kagome thought determinedly. There was no way she was just going to sit back and sneeze herself to death.

Then she saw at the corner of her eye a dog at the lake. Wait that was incorrect it was IN the lake! Kagome then saw a tree that reached over the lake. She ran to the tree and climbed till she was just about over the dog. While cursing her luck she struggled to pull the dog out of the water, but boy was that dog HEAVY! She noticed that when she did pull the dog out her branch became a bit unstable; the dog still in a panic mode lashed out at her and dislocated her foot.

Hot red pain seeped through her as the dog bit her. She let out a might scream "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" then she lost what left of the balance she had. She tossed the dog to the shallow waters and fell straight into the water with a splash. When the water impacted with her she let out a gasp. The freezing cold water filled her lungs as she tried to stay up.

Just then she felt a body collide in to hers. She tried to push he or she away from her so she could breath. But the person would not let go! Soon she was punching the person so she could breathe better. Then she heard a voice witch allowed her to know he was a boy. "Shut up and swim!" he yelled. "Let me Go" Kagome yelled at the man. "Just swim for a little more," he yelled back. "LET ME GO!" Kagome yelled as she tried to pound him. Just then her wound touched land, she hissed and flinched at the impact.

When they were on land she was finally able to catch her breath but not for long because soon people crowded her. Then she had no choice but to answer their questions. Just then a short man asked about the dog. She frantically looked around, she spotted the dog on the other side of the lake she smiled and pointed to the dog. Then she asked politely for some one to get the dog. When she finally looked at her savior she saw that he had a suite on and he was drenched head to toe. Just then it hit her. The savior was her CRUSH!

After the crowd left, and a few seconds after the blush had left her cheeks. Kagome wobbled up to him stuck her hand out and said
"Hurishi, Kagome... and thank you for saving me" He shook her hand and said,
"Tasho, Inuyasha and you are welcome." for some odd, reason this handshake made her stomach do flip flops like her black sandal.
"Um...is it ok if I carry you home?" Inuyasha asked. As his face lit up like fireworks. Kagome smiled at him and said,
"That would be nice".
Then she saw the dog walking toward her, she looked at the white dog and whispered "Good doggie."
