Song Writing
0 Reviewsjust read it. my rating isn't accurate. it never is.
"Okay, question." Patrick looks at me across the couch of me and Carly's bus.
"Okay, ask." i shrug.
"I think that we should have a collab in one of the next shows." He tells me.
"Dude, that wasn't a question. THat was a thought." I smirk.
"WHatever. You in or not?"
I pretend to think a minute. "Well, I only have like guitar and drums for our songs. That it. No second guitar--let alone third or forth--no bass."
"And your point is--?"
I frown. "What, you're suggesting you want to write up more?"
Patrick shrugs. "Its not rocket science."
"Yes, but it's not going to sound any good." I open up the mini fridge and take out a DR Pepper.
Patrick makes an offended face. "That was rude. You love my music."
"What's goin on?" Carly comes out of the back.
"She's dissing me." He glances at her.
"I am not!" I raise my voice a little. "I just haven't heard our songs with like six people playing in them. I just think it's gonna sound cluttered."
"Drea, stop yelling." Carly opens up her laptop. "Why are we talking about our songs with six people?"
"I had an idea that we should collab and she's getting pissy." Trick looks in my direction for my smartass comment.
"I'm not getting pissy. I just think it'll sound weird. Thanks for the headache, you pain in the ass."
"THis coming from the kid yelling at me for having an idea."
"I AM NOT YELLING!!"
"Yeah, you are."
"Drea, shut up. Both of you calm down." Carly snaps.
I pout, crossing my arms in front of me. I seriously start thinking about having my brother Luke pull over. Then I continue on my train of thought. Then laugh. "I'm really hardheaded." I look at Patrick. "Sorry."
"Sure, you are." He jokes. "And you'll blow up at me again in ten minutes, right?"
I roll my eyes, pulling my guitar out from behing the couch. "Fine, we'll write shit. As long as you hear me out."
"As you wish, tempermental one."
