I stared into his eyes, then I had a grin on my face. I fiddled around with my phone and finally put it in one of the pockets.

"It's nice to meet you, Nick..." I said holding my hand out. He hesitated, but shook it. Then there was a long period of awkward silence. I thought about my mom and the store.

"Well, I should be getting back to the store. It was nice to see you in person..." I said, watching what I said to him. As I pasted by him, he was getting bumps from the cold. I took off the jacket, stuck my arm out at the full length, and put his jacket on his shoulder.

"I don't want it anymore...besides, you need it." I said and walked towards the ladder. He put it on and followed me. We came down and just stared at each other.

"I guess this is good-bye for now..." I said and started to back up. Nick started to say something, but I turned around, and hit something...hard. I fell to the ground and rubbed my forehead. Nick came by side, and help me up.

"Owwww..." I said.

"Are you okay?" Nick said politely. I glared at him.

"Yes. I'm fine..." I started to walk but stumbled. Nick grabbed me.

"It doesn't seem like it. I can help." He said, not letting go of my arm.

"I can walk. I'm just dizzy...that's all." I said yanking my arm out of his grip. I hit the ground. At least I fell on my knees. Nick stared at me.

"Um-I can help." He said and held out his hand. I let out a frustrated sighed and gripped his hand. Nick smiled, and put my right arm around him. He pulled me up.

"Stupid thing. I had to hit it..." I said to myself. Apparently Nick heard.

"Well. I was going to warn you." He said as we walked towards the shop, I put my other hand on my forehead. We went in and my mom rushed by me.

"What happened, Trinity?!" She said with a worried look on her face. I sighed and looked at Nick who was looking at my mom.

"Well, she kinda hit something...and she was dizzy and couldn't walk." Nick said. My mom had a relief sigh.

"Trinity, how do you always hurt yourself...?" She said and walked to the door. She got out a key and handed it to Nick.

"Will you be a gentleman, and take my daughter to our house." She said, smiling.

"That's how I was raised." He said and smiled at her. My mom grabbed my coat and handed it to Nick. He put it on me.

"Trinity will show you the way." She said opening the door. I glared at her, gladly Nick didn't see the glare as we went out. we went down the street.

"My house is on Apple Mill Lane." I said pointing to our street. We finally arrived at my house and got inside. Nick helped me to my room and laid my down on my bed.

"Do you need anything?"

"Yeah...Can you bring me an ice pack...?" I said with my voice cracking.

"Sure." He said and got up. A couple minutes later he can back with it and a drink. He put it on me and gave me the drink.

"Thanks..." I said taking a drink of water. I soon fell asleep.

I woke up and it was dark out. My head was throbbing. I tried to get up, but failed miserably. I have an iron hold on me.

"You aren't...going anywhere." The sweet, sleepy sounding voice crept its way to my beating head. At that moment, I felt like my stomach was going to jump clear out of my throat.

"Nick, I-I" I said, when he sat up.

"Wait..."

"I'm serious...I-I have..." I tried again, as my stomach did flips inside of me. I was going to throw up, that I was for certain. When it was going to happen though, was beyond me, but I was afraid that it wasn't going to be long.

"What?" He said softly.

"I-I need to g-get go-" I managed to stammer, before I felt the rush of hot liquid burst through my throat, and landing right below Nick's collarbone. He suddenly looked disgusted, and shot up. I hurriedly ran out of the room, not even bothering with using the bathroom that was connected to the bedroom, it was far too embarrassing. I ran through the living room, holding my palm very firmly against my mouth, knowing the second that it peeled away, the liquid would be there to welcome it. Once I reached the bathroom, I didn't even bother closing the door, I just fell to my knees and lowered my head into the toilet bowl. After barfing a few rounds, I sat there, waiting for the last of whatever didn't agree with my stomach would burst forth. I felt it bubbling in my stomach and start to slowly rise in my throat. Here it comes, I thought. I readied myself, and once I opened my mouth to let the puke out, I felt ice cold hands touch my neck and pull my hair back away from my face. I hoped that was the last one.

"Nick, no...You didn't have to..." I said. He was smiling so softly at me it made me want to melt, right there, and slide out the door.

"I wanted to." he half chuckled.

"I'm so sorry." I said.

"What for?" Nick asked.

"I threw up all over you..."

"I noticed..."

"Well, I'm sorry... I never wanted to do anything like that in front of you..."

"No, don't be. It wasn't even that bad..." he replied scratching his head with a cheesy smile.
