4 ReviewsRyan Ross has turned into a boring person. It seems like his "fun" days are over and his fellow band-mate Brendon Urie notices this. That's why he decides to change into his old self. In the proces...
“The Boring Old Man”
In only took Ryan Ross ten seconds to understand that he was madly in love with his band-mate, the infamous Brendon Urie. It had been that afternoon; they were both alone in their tour bus. Ryan was watching TV, since he felt lazier than ever and Brendon was sitting next to him, eating a bowl of Honey-Nut Cheerios.
“Ya know, I have watched this show about eleven chizillion times and I never get bored,” Brendon commented on “Gilmore Girls” with his mouth filled with the pale cereal.
Ryan simply nodded and kept watching the abnormal situation that always presented in this kind of TV drama comedies. He was very peaceful. For the first time in years, Ryan Ross felt in peace with himself with no worries flooding his mind. That is until Brendon Urie unconsciously told him the truth that made him realize no one knew him better than his younger friend.
Brendon placed his head on Ryan’s lap and looked up so he could see his band-mate’s face. “Ry, you are pretty!” he had informed. “You are the prettiest boy I have ever seen.”
At first, Ryan shook off his friend’s odd comments. After all, Brendon was very stupid and was always saying idiotic things. Ryan Ross had learned it was better just to omit those kind of silly comments that every so often escaped his mouth.
“Don’t ignore me!” Brendon complained. “I love you!”
Once again, Ryan simply ignored his band-mate and simply patted his head. “Sure honey, I love you too.”
Brendon felt like a big baby about to burst in tears due to his friend ignoring his honest jokes. The truth was that he hated what Ryan had become. Brendon Urie remembered how much they used to fool around, laugh and simply have fun back in the old days. Now, all that Ryan did was sit around, either writing or reading or watching TV or listening to music and simply having boring life.
Nowadays, Ryan Ross felt more mature. He felt like just enjoying the few peaceful moments his life offered him and resting as much as possible.
“You are turning into an old man,” Brendon had commented as he sat back up, the bowl of cereal still on his hands.
“Excuse me?” Ryan expressed, perplexed at his friend’s new comment. “How am I turning into an old man?”
“You are,” Brendon reaffirmed. “It seems as if some leech has sucked the fun out of you.”
“Sorry if I have grown and turned more mature. Your lame jokes are not something to be proud of.”
“Whatever old man, all I know is that you’re ‘maturing’ is something very idiotic. I miss the old you and hate the new ‘grown up’ Ryan!” Brendon screamed and went to his bunk.
Ryan Ross was left feeling stupid and useless.
I hadn't writing a Rydon in such a long time it was kind of weird. I've been writing things like this for more than a year now so I've kind of ran out of ideas a long time ago, so I hope this one is of your liking cause it kind of came out of nowhere.
Anyways, tell me what you think.
