Holly rolled over and thunked into Gerard. She groaned and woke up unwillingly. She squinted in the sunlight coming through the slit in the curtains.

“Gerard, wake up!” She said, sitting up and pulling the sheet to cover herself. “If I’m up, you’re up.” He groaned. “Come on baby. We can have morning sex.”

“I’m awake.” He announced, pulling Holly on top of him and kissing her. She giggled into the kiss and began to really get into it when there was a knock on the door.

“Who is it?” She called, sitting up in a straddling position.

“Frankie and Mikey!” Holly frowned.

“Go away!” She shouted back.

“Can’t! We have an interview and we sorta need your fiancée!”

“Fine!” Holly climbed off of Gerard and pulled the sheet over her more and Gerard pulled on his boxers and went to the door and talked with the guys for a few seconds before coming back in.

“We have time enough for a quickie in the shower.” He said. Holly looked up at him and smiled, jumping out of bed and following him into the bathroom. Gerard turned on the water and waited for it to get warm and hugged Holly close to him. “God, I can’t believe you said yes.” He whispered.

“What is that supposed to mean?” She laughed. “Gerard, you’re the most amazing guy in the world, you’ve seen me at my worst, and you still love me. That’s amazing. And, we’ve been through so much shit together. Of course I’d marry you. I love you.”

“I love you too.” He kissed her again and snuck his hand into the water. “And now it’s go time, cause the waters warm!” She laughed as he pulled her into the shower, which got very steamy, very quick.

“Someone looks happy!” Bob jeered as Gerard came downstairs for the interview with a grin plastered on his face.

“Well, I just got engaged to the most amazing girl in the world.” He smiled back, taking a sip of coffee. “Who’s sleeping right now.”

“You gotta stop wearing her out like that man.” Frank laughed. “My sister can only take so much.”

“Yeah, but she’s like you, she’s gotta take naps.” Mikey said, poking Frank in the gut. “I missed naptime with her. That was always fun. We’d always pretend to sleep, and then go steal cookies.”

“That’s why all the cookies were gone when I got home!” Frank said. “You owe me Oreo’s!”

“Alright you guys, calm down, and let’s get this interview started.” Brian said. They all piled onto a couch. Throughout the interview, Gerard’s mind was elsewhere. His sleeping fiancée upstairs, the perfect engagement. He started picturing their lives together, they’d have a house, kids, a dog or a cat, and they’d be happy together. He laughed to himself quietly at how cheesy he was being.

“Something funny Gee?” Frank asked. Everyone was staring at him.

“Nah, it was just something that happened a couple days ago.” He covered quickly.

“Okay dude.” Frank laughed. “Well, we have a sound check, so this interview is pretty much over. It was nice talking with you dude.” They all shook hands with the interviewer and left. “Go wake up my sister and get her ass down here! I wanna talk to her.”

“Okay.” Gerard jogged to the elevator and waited. It opened and he stepped into it, glad it was mostly business people that probably wouldn’t know him. He finally reached his floor and was all smiles as he opened up the door to the room. He passed the main room and softly opened the door to the suite’s bedroom and smiled. Holly was tightly wrapped up in the sheet, her hair falling over her face and she was hugging the hoodie he had left on the bed. “Holly baby, wake up.”

“Mmmm.” She groaned and rolled over.

“Fine, I’ll have to get in bed with you.” He crawled under the sheet behind her and hugged her close to him. “Up, woman. You’re brother wants to talk to you.”

“You talk to him. You make out with him, I’m sure he’ll like that.” She mumbled.

“Holly, seriously, you have to get up.” Gerard warned. “Okay. That’s fine. But I’m so taking advantage of this, because I know your tickle spots.” And with that, he launched the attack. She squeaked and started trying to block him, but she was moving and laughing too hard.

“Okay!! I give!” She shouted. “I’m up.” Gerard stopped tickling her and watched her catch her breath from his position straddling her hips. They stared into each other’s eyes for a few brief moments, and then he leaned down and kissed her.

“Now get up!” Gerard said, pulling her up and tossing her some clothes. She stuck out her tongue and got dressed slowly, noticing Gerard watching her. She finally got dressed and they packed up their bags for later and went downstairs.

“Hey! There you are!” Frank called out to his little sister.

“What?!” She asked. “I was having a nice dream and you send him to wake me up!” She joked.

“Yeah, I want to talk to you.” Frnak said. “Come on, let’s go for a walk.” They walked outside to the little garden area and walked around.

“So, what did you want to talk about?” Holly asked.

“Well, you do know what you’re getting into, marrying Gerard, right?” Frank asked.

“What do you mean?”

“We’ll, fan-girls are going to hate you. Even more than they do now. And if you guys have kids, that’s going to be rough.”

“Frankie, we’re not even thinking about kids! I mean come on!” Holly stopped and grabbed Frank by the shoulders and looked him in the eyes. “Frank, Gerard and I are going to be fine. We love each other, and whatever happens, happens.” She shrugged.

“Okay. But I’m just making sure you know.” Frank said, hugging his baby sister and kissing the top of her head. “I love ya Hollz.”

“Here’s looking at you kid.” She laughed and they made their way back to the others. Gerard put his arm around her waist and snuggled her closer to him once they got back. She took his coffee and took a sip of it and felt her stomach rumble.

“Awe, you hungry baby?” Gerard asked, smiling at her. She yawned and nodded.

“Well hubby, you’re supposed to be a provider now, so go get your wifey some food!” Mikey said, poking Gerard in the side.

“Yeah, what Mikey said!” Holly giggled.

“Well what do you want my lady?” Gerard asked. Holly thought and whispered to Mikey, who whispered back.

“I want chinese food!” She declared. Mikey laughed and hugged her.

“Now, is that what you want, or what Mikey wants?” Gerard asked as the others laughed.

“Don’t question your wife!” Mikey said, pulling her close to him. “Or I’m going to have to steal her!” He turned to Frank, who tossed him a toy light saber and Mikey turned it on.

“No!” Gerard shouted. Bob tossed him a light saber and he turned it and started battling Mikey, while Holly stayed close to Ray. After minutes of grunts and plastic on plastic hitting, Mikey fell to the floor as Gerard did a slow-mo move to stab him. Mikey reacted in slow-mo and Holly cried out and slowly ran over to them, to tend to Mikey. Gerard did a victory dance and pulled Holly up and kissed her passionately before helping Mikey up and bowing. The guys clapped and cheered.

“Okay, now let’s get some food.” Holly said, leading them all out of the hotel. They all piled into the van and were taken to a Chinese restaurant, where they went inside and all sat in a circular booth. They all ordered random things, knowing they were going to end up trading everything. Gerard had his hand on Holly’s knee underneath the table and she placed hers over it.

“So, when do you guys think you’ll get married?” Ray asked curiously playing with the chopsticks. Gerard and Holly looked at each other and shrugged.

“Most likely whenever we get around to it.” Holly said, taking a sip of her soda. “I mean, I’m in no rush to get married, you guys have a lot of shit to do after this tour. Not a lot of time to plan anything.”

“True.” Mikey agreed. “But after all that, we only have three months until another tour.”

“Can we not talk about planning things?” Holly asked. “Let’s just enjoy this time right now, and we’ll start planning later!” She said, tossing a piece of rice at Mikey.

“Sounds good.” Gerard said, hugging her. As they all started random conversations, Holly looked around the place. She loved the décor of Chinese restaurants, always thought everything was so cool. She noticed someone familiar and her eyes widened. She lightly kicked Frank under the table and he looked over at her and followed her gaze. His face hardened.

“No fucking way.” He muttered as Holly clutched Gerard’s hand and started shaking.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” She nodded over to the other side of the room. He looked over and so did the others. Alex was sitting in a booth across the room, and hadn’t noticed them yet.

“I’ll go see if we can get the rest of the food to go.” Bob said. “Gerard, you just get Holly the fuck outta here.” Gerard stood up and slid his jacket off and put it on Holly and gave her sunglasses. She slid them on and he, Mikey and Ray helped her out, without drawing attention to them. They jumped into the van and Gerard pulled Holly onto his lap and she laid her head on his shoulder.

“It’s okay baby.” Gerard whispered, stroking her hair comfortingly. “He’s not going to get us.” She only responded with a small kiss to his neck and curled into him as Bob and Frank jumped into the van with bags upon bags of food. Frank sat next to Gerard and set a bag down on the floor.

“Here, let me.” Gerard handed Holly over to Frank, who hugged her tight.

“Sweetie, don’t worry. He didn’t see us.” Frank said, reassuringly.

“But he’s here.” She said, fear lacing her voice heavily. “He knows where I am, and he’s going to get us.”

“No. No he’s not.” Bob said. “Holly, you think I’m gonna let anything happen to anyone?” He kissed her forehead from behind Frank. “I won’t.”

“Thank you Bob.” She whispered.

“Here, just listen to your ipod and go to sleep, we’ll get to the venue and you can lay down.” Frank said, handing her the ipod. She nodded and put the ear phones in and started listening to The Academy Is… and Cobra Starship. The two bands besides MCR that made everything better.
