approximately 2100 hours
Delilah's bedroom.
Delilah laid, sprawled across her bed, a small shoebox on the floor. In it, were the many memorabilia from over the years. There were pictures of everyone from the academy, some small profiles on her family, with such little information she could find, but it was mostly for Julius. Pictures, letters that were left unsent, and such. But there was one picture that would stay forever.. It was the one from a few weeks ago. The two of them had decided to go to a nearby park, and had asked someone to take a picture of them. The picture was of them, Julius getting ready to give Delilah a piggyback ride, and Delilah jumping onto his back. A tear quietly slipped off her cheek as she thought of the memories that day brought back.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a short knock at the door. She didn't even bother trying to hide her photos and her tears. Slowly walking up to the door, she glanced in a mirror. God, I look awful. Julius wouldn't want this, would he? Julius.... The tears came through again. Without brushing them away, she opened her door.
There stood Nosey. Once again, he had been crying, just as she had been. Nosey walked over to her radio, without a word. He turned it on, and found the station he was looking for.

The two looked at each other knowingly. Delilah had moved from her door to her bed. Nosey still stood where he was before, near her desk.
I guess it's true that love was all you wanted
cause you've given it away like it's extra change
hoping it will end up in his pocket
but he leaves you out like a penny in the rain
oh, cause it's not his price to pay
not his price to pay...
And even though the song didn't quite exactly fit to their situation, it still fit.

And when the song was over, all protocol was forgotten. The two cried off and on, and talked in between, until they were too tired to do much of anything. Nosey left her room at about midnight. Delilah turned to her radio for comfort, once more.

That was exactly what Delilah wanted to do right now. Shut herself out from the new day that was arriving.

Delilah knew she was probably running out of time. She made up her mind. The next day, first things first, she'd go down to the infirmary and see if she could go see Julius and Zoe. But in her heart, she wanted to just break apart.
