Since I am not allowed to respond to anonymous reviews, I feel compelled to respond to annoy’s comment through my own review. A review of a review if you will.

Yes I am familiar with how human males choose their partners because 1) I’m human and 2) I also happen to be male.

Now, you are referring to the old adage of “Every boy wants to marry his mother.” Though I may be mistaken I do not believe that it “has been studied for a long time now through the history of mankind” as you say. I don’t recall Socrates talking about how hot his mother was. Maybe the ancient Egyptians did, but they were into incest.

Let me explain the adage to you “Every boy wants to marry his mother” because you seem to be mistaken: Men tend to look for women who have similar qualities to their mothers like you stated. That is meant to be mental qualities like emotions, intellect, temperament, etc. NOT physical qualities. If a man is attracted to a woman who resembles his mother, it is a psychological disorder call an Oedipus Complex (look it up). That is the reason why I have the “Freud” references throughout the story.

I started to write the whole Oedipus Joy Ride that is Sword of Gryffindor because I have heard the argument that it was obvious from the beginning of the series that Harry and Ginny were meant to be together because she looks like her mother too many times. And every time I see or hear the argument, the person or person always makes a reference to “Every boy wants to marry his mother.” It is simply amazing how many people get the adage completely wrong (think or they think incest is cute). Then again, these are the same people who think emotional abuse is the basis for a romantic relationship COUGH Ron/Hermione COUGH
