Why isn't anyone updating much god there are some great stories and none updates

SakurasSong Yeah, I know. It gets annoying, especially when you're really into reading a story. I got into an awesome Kingdom Hearts fanfic, but the author suddenly stopped writing. Now the story's completely disappeared from this site.

Smiley02 ok I put out a story on Delilah and julius about updating and redfoxfan gave me crap they said: "okay just STOP people will update when they can!!!most of us havehave a lifeouside of fanfictions!!!! Ican see that you are NOT one of them.."
and this is what she actually said I found it rude!

Smiley02 I got mad at redfoxfan because people do have lifes they just have lot's of spare time and use some of it on ficwad and fanfictions!

concerto49 Some people have said that they'll update if people read and review it. For me, I've tried to keep a schedule and update regularly if you noticed, I've been constantly updating different things whenever I get the chance to. Perhaps it's because I'm not the one with the great stories :)

SakurasSong I guess some people come down with a serious case of writer's block and stop writing for a month or two.

I agree with Smiley...somewhat. Redfoxfan posted that response too rudely (if "rudely" is even a word). But he/she has a good point. Some people are just too busy to log into ficwad on a regular basis. That doesn't stop unfinshed, good stories from irritating its readers, though...

I_am_Me I updated during January/June when I had exams (don't ask), but also, people might be having tough times at home, and you have to respect it. I know it's annoying, but you just have to be patient.
