A simple question...
I dont know if this question can really be answered, because it probably varies but I was wondering how long it would take to get reviews.
Do I have to do anything in order to make it so I CAN get reviews?

Rous It depends on who reads your story and how inclined they are to leave a review. You should know that most will not bother. It is an inconsideration that you just live with.

If you want to solicit reviews, there are a couple of things you can do.
First, read other people's stories and review them. Be honest, but civil. The more you review, the greater the chance you will receive reviews.
Second, leave a post in the Shameless Self-promotion thread here: http://www.ficwad.com/forum.php?action=viewtopic&topicid=384
Third, you could find someone in your fandom and ask them to read and comment on your story.

Celestial_Skies Yeah I have found that most people will not even bother...hangs head I have been guilty of not leaving one myself and I should have. I try to leave reviews or ratings on all the stories I read...since I too like them left for me.

crazybrech most people dont but if its 5 star im sure they will

concerto49 I review what I read if it's worth it since I usually have something I want to say about it, like comments or something. It depends - depends on the reader, and what you've written. Depends if anyone has read it in the first place.
