Will this ever be addressed?
It's very disappointing to see this not responded to by the admins for so long as it really keeps folks with new fandom categories to add from being able to add their fics or get involved in the site.

Dexter category - TV Show
Hello. I've had the same problem other people reported - i mean, if i wish to ask for a Dexter category, the parent category would be TV Show...but i can't select that.

I've tried to go around it setting the stories as original and leaving a note on the summary clarifying it's actually a dexter fanfic and no copyright infringement is intended, but this is only a temporary solution (i hope).

I'd really appreciate if this category was added. I've posted this stories on ff.net before because of the inexistence of a dexter category here, but i'd like to set my stories here also.

I once sent an e-mail to the administrators, but i got neither a reply or the category being set...

What's the deal, ficwad admins?
I'm having the same problem with suggesting a new category. It won't let me select "books" as the parent, only a specific category within "books." Which, as there isn't a category for S.M. Stirling, does me no good when I'm trying to get a category for the Domination of the Draka series.

I tried putting in "books/Domination of the Draka," but that was a few days ago and it's not appeared yet.

I suppose I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.

Anna-wa I really want to suggest TV/iCarly and Books/Uglies but I can't until this problem is fixed.
Please, tell us how to do it.
